Jimi Beans Coffee Celebrates Free Coffee Day
On Wednesday, November 26, 2003, coffee is on the house at Jimi Beans Coffee Drive Thru on 2491 Hilltop Drive in Redding. The "Free Coffee Day" give-away is part of the company's planned Customer Appreciation Day ceremony. "The residents of Redding have been wonderful in welcoming us to their community," said Karen Fronek, one of five partners that brought the charismatic coffee culture to the city. "Our goal is to let the people of Redding know that we're as glad to be here as they are to have us."
Jimi Beans opened for business this past August and has since been providing quality taste-tested java to the Redding community. According to Fronek, the coffee is fabulous and served quickly, but Jimi Beans is also an experience she wants people to enjoy and remember. "Employees are hired for their smiles and positive attitudes," she said. "We want to be a good influence on customers. It's as simple as that."
Due to its success, Jimi Beans Coffee plans to continue with growth plans by establishing multiple locations in the Redding area. For now, Fronek said she is concentrating on making the first location of Jimi Beans the best it can possibly be. The "Free Coffee Day" is Jimi Beans way of showing appreciation. "We're looking forward to long lines," she said. "Our goal is to give away as much coffee as people can drink."
